The 8100g is a quad-band GSM/EDGE BlackBerry with SureType QWERTY keyboard and slim design. It is also the first BlackBerry phone to feature built-in camera and microSD slot, which can be used for storing of images and multimedia content, as the phone features music and video players. Earlier information shows that the Pearl will have 240x260 pixels display with light-sensor, and the T-Mobile logo on it tips us that this time it won t be Cingular customers that will get their hands on the phone first.

The BlackBerry Pearl 8100, the first device that BlackBerry released with a name and the first to feature integrated camera, microSD card slot and multimedia player. The Lithium Ion battery has a capacity of 900 mAh that can handle 3.50 hours or 215 mins of talk time and will last up to 15 days or 360 hours stand-by time.
